One of the richest men in world is Carlos Slim. He is worth $74 billion. In one of his speeches, he tells the story that back to college because his employees made mistakes, and when the paper work came to him for review, he couldn’t find those mistakes. Thus, he had to go back to college and major in finance to be able to sufficiently run a successful business. Slim goes to schools and talks about how education is critical to future success. He has donated lots of money to universities, and helps students with their education to achieve their dreams. Slim says “We will devote all the resources necessary to make this venture a success.” Slims quote means do whatever it takes to achieve success. College education also helps everyone out with their professional work and keeps you away from labor work. After discussing the topic about going to college with family and friends, who played a major role of helping me decide to go to college.

He is a great inspiration to me because back in days it was hard to get loans and pay for college but in this century it is really easy to get loans and most of the parents is willing to help their kids if their kids really want to go to college so they can add meaning to their lives.
