Teacher Versus Computer
With Earth rapidly being taken over it sheds light to the question of if mankind can fight the battle it created. Technology advances in the past 50 years have made it so that cell phones, tablets, and computers are constantly in a five meter radius of most people from the time they are born to the time they die. Reflecting back to a generation when computers were barely present in an average household yet alone a classroom while today having multiple computers in both a classroom and household is completely habitual. Although some may argue that the growth in technology has precipitated laziness, it has overall enhanced mankind and the spread of knowledge to everyone around the world.

Currently, technology extends well beyond the classroom to serve the needs of students being home schooled or with disabilities to enable them to have a plethora of options to learn, research, and investigate from. Due to the internet, both students and their instructors have a portal that enables them to connect to other people from all over the world and their thoughts. Computers and all of their functions open the roads that stimulate learning and assist in evolving elevated thinking skills. Technological developments have frequently depicted a connection between innovations in communications and industry with enhancements in educational methods. The more substantial the reach of educational programs to the flourishing population of students by means of the internet continues to test educators and pushes them to enhance their student’s educational experience universally. The computers noteworthy capability to offer lessons in multimedia formats enriches education alone but it is only the beginning of what technology will do to the quality of education in the decades to proceed.
