How do the alcohol commercials affect us?
-This is the most common question when it comes to commercials today.How do the commercials affect us?;what makes us buy the product?;and the most important why do we buy it even though we know it is not going to get us anything good?Influence of these commercials is very bad and is getting worse as the ad industry is developing. -At first alcohol ads are more and more directed towards young people.In these ads producers are often promoting the idea that even an ordinary hangout with friends can not be complete without their product.The real example are Heineken's commercials.As we all know Heineken is world biggest beer producer.Almost in all of their commercials there are young people at the parties drinking their would now say:“Don't they think with their own head?How can anyone make them drink if they don't want to?It is inevitable to start drinking in the world where ads are everywhere:at the tv,radio newspapers even on t-shirts.An survey in USA has shown that kids till 7th grade don't even know what is the meaning of those ads,but when they see them on someone's t-shirt or see thatperson drinking they want to be like and it starts like that. -Furthermore,ad producers are even starting to promote alcohol products in ordinary tv programes esspecially football matches.I esspecially remember one of these commercials.There were three guys and their team was loosing.Than one of them left and got back with beer's.And here comes the best part,he openes the beer and there are drops all over the bottle and it looks soo nice and as he openes them their team scores.It is so attractive,that even I (and I am extremely anti-alcoholic) would like to drink it.Sad but true. -Also the companies are spending more and more money on alcohol ads.For example according to surveys in the USA alcohol industry generates more than $65 billion a year in revenue and spends more than $1 billion a year on advertising.
