Alexia Sinclair seeks to create a complex visual image that allows the audience to view reality from a alternative viewpoint, to create a visually exciting environment for the target audience. Sinclair uses a wide variety of different elements within the medium of photographic media. through the use if various lighting, computer, software and grip techniques she is able to create a unique visual experience that is quite different from what a post modern audience would expect from a 21st century artist.

alexia sinclairs style is a mix of fine art photography and digital manipulation her style is easily recognizable and very original through her technique alexias uses this to seduce her audience every photo alexia takes is symbolic Her multilayered photographs subtly present contemporary notions of fashion and beauty through innovative digital media, whilst restoring antique notions of classicism, elegance and luxury.

alexia sinclairs artwork usually takes up 2 days to three months to create and finish. it involves making hundreds of layers (in photoshop) to create a image. every single image is made up in alexia sinclairs mind and is consolidated by research and storyboards. then it is disassembled and placed into different components which allows alexia Sinclair to have more freedom in what she decides to do next such as background, props and models to get the right images for her artworks alexia has had to travel around the world and not just the images alexia needed the appropriate costumes, props and getting a model with the right kind of appearance and persona to ‘become’ the subject
